The AGC MA hosted an Opioid Stand Down at the OMNI Boston Hotel at the Seaport to launch their new campaign, Building a Path to Recovery, to eradicate opioid use within the commercial construction industry. This campaign is a collaborative effort of AGC MA, Mass. Building Trades, OSHA, and the Grayken Institute. The Stand Down provided an outlet for speakers representing general contractors, members of the trades, and trade associations to share their thoughts and personal experiences with addiction. Rodney Sinclair, VP of Construction & Development, spoke on JANEY’s behalf explaining that at JANEY, we value our employees like family and in our organization, we recognize that it takes a village. When one of ours needs help, we all hold out our hand. It’s just what we do. This event allowed JANEY to have a platform to break down the stigma attached to addiction, build a pathway to recovery, and hopefully save lives.
